LIST OF 5 BEST GAMES IN PLAY STATION VR
2016 is quite literally the age of Virtual Reality gaming. First there was the Oculus Rift craze, then the HTC Vive craze, and now to end the year in sheer VR bliss- Sony’s most affordable and incredible PlayStation VR.
So, to keep the VR frenzy alive and running, we at Gamemela have gathered 5 of the best games for the PS VR. These amazing games will ensure you are lost in VR wonder.
1.RIGS: Mechanized Combat League
This game is for all you competitive gamers out there who wish to live out your mechanical robot fan frenzy. RIGS puts you guys right in the middle of a virtually intense mech vs. mech action.
Using your own head to aim can be confusing at first, but you will soon get used to it. Remember: This is not a game for those of you who easily get motion sick, but for those of you who don’t. RIGS provides a kickass experience both in single player and online multiplayer.
EVE: Valkyrie is surely one of the best looking games on the PSVR. It is also the next stage of evolution for the space simulation genre. True, Valkyrie basically lets you become a fighter pilot in space. But this done in VR will bring you back to those nostalgic old space simulation games you played as a child.
The main feature that makes Valkyrie a winner is its crossplay. Yup, players on the PSVR, HTC Vive, and Oculus Rift can all play against each other on the same server.
Driveclub is not that good of a racing game on the PS4, but in VR it is super enjoyable as it actually allows you to feel like you are driving a race car.
You can turn your head to the sides in order to make more precise turns or to see who is beside you. This is also a full-fledged racing game that features 80 cars and over 100 tracks. Not to mention, five new tracks that are exclusive to the PS VR.
I know. Most of you think that a rhythm game “can’t be one of the best” and I’m probably crazy for saying so. But Rez is an absolute joy to play as it does a brilliant job of showing us what the PSVR can do visually
With the way the colors and sounds completely surround the player, this classic shows its true potential on the PSVR. This might as well be the most intense PSVR game purely because of the sensory overload it provides.
Battlezone is an old-school arcade game from 1980 that used simple graphics to simulate a 3D environment. Now in 2016, not only do we get a fully 3D game, but also a game that works awesome in VR
One of the best features of Battlezone is that you are in control of a powerful vehicle. There exists a huge variety of tanks to choose and use, all of which have their own unique abilities. When compared to similar games, this game definitely stands out.
Well, these are our favorites for now. Hopefully 2017 will reveal a wide range of huge VR games that will further justify the PS VR’s existence.
